Enjoy the sweet trails in Kal Park as they wander thru the forest and thru the grasslands. Climb up to check out the amazing views of Kal lake! The finish line is at the beach! Lots of great prizes and prize money for top 50km finishers.
Dirty Feet Kal Park 50 is an iconic 50km offering prize money. Prize money will be awarded to the top three finishers in the men’s and women’s 50km race ( $100 – 1st place, $50 – 2nd place, $25 – 3rd place). The 25km race and 8 km race will receive prizes for top 3 from our Sponsors.

Trails:
This run is in Kalamalka Provincial Park offering amazing trails and amazing views of Kal Lake and the Okanagan valley. A true gem! The trails are fun and challenging and will be well marked with flags and arrows and at the finish there’s great food waiting for you – sweet and salty snacks and water and electrolyte drink. There will be 2 feed zones out on course and one at the start/finish area.

Race Package Pick-up
Friday May 5th from 3-5pm and Saturday May 6th from 11-1pm in Vernon at the Starting Block in Vernon at 3100 29 Ave. For out of towners that cannot make these times you can pick them up on race day from 6am-6:45am for 50km start and 8am for 25km start and until an hour before your race starts. This will be at Kalamalka Prov park at the start line.

Entry Fees
50 km race early entry fee is $75 includes GST. Price increases after December 31st.
25km race early entry fee is $55 includes GST. Price increases after December 31st.
8km early entry fee is $40 includes GST. Price increases after December 31st.
*Entry Fees will increase by $5 – On January 1st. and another $5 1- week (April 30th) before the race.
All fees include GST and do not include on-line processing fee.

Refund Policy
Sorry No Refunds. –Your registration maybe transferred to another 2023 event but this must be requested 2 weeks prior to the event.
Aid Stations and Time Cut offs for 50km:
1st Aid station – 12.5km
2nd Aid Station – 20.9km (approx)
3rd Aid Station – 25km – First time cut off at 5 hours
4th Aid Station – 37.5km – Second time cut off at 7.5 hours
5th Aid Station – 45.9km (approx)
25km race will have 2 aid stations – 12.5km and 20.9km (approx)
Aid stations will be available they will include water, electrolyte drink, gummies, and chips 21km runners please be prepared to carry enough water/electrolyte drink for 10km without a refuelling station.
8km race will not have aid stations on course.
Pacing
Pacing and Pacers are not permitted for any of the distances in this race. Your support crew is only able to support you at the start/finish area and half way at the start area and no where else on course.

This run is at the Jade/Juniper bay aka yellow gate to Kalamalka Provincial Park on Kidston Rd. in Coldstream, BC. Click here for a map. If you google Kalamalka Prov park it will direct you to the wrong parking lot. Use map or this address 14469 Kidston Rd.

Weather:
Historically it has been nice in Vernon and at Kalamalka Prov Park however remember this is an early season race and all racers should bring clothes for all conditions.
