Distances - Park overview

This trail run is located on the beautiful trails in Kenna Cartwright Park in Kamloops BC. 3 distances are open for registration 5km, 10km or 21km. This run is great for all levels of runners and abilities!

Kenna Cartwright Park is a huge city park and offers an extensive network of trails great for trail running, hiking and mountain biking. The trails in Kenna Cartwright Park are a mix of roots, rocks and dirt. The run will be on double track trails to allow for passing and spreading out of the group however there will be a good portion of single track as well.

Shirts, hoodies and hats will be available to purchase at the event. Cash and credit card are accepted. Check out the new gear at the race!

Race Package Pick-up

Race Packages will be available to pick up on Saturday Sept 21st from 11-1pm at Runners Sole at Unit #74 1395 Hillside Dr in Kamloops. For out-of-towners who cannot make these times, you can pick them up at the race on race day at the race from 8am-9:30am.

Racer Check In

Check in will be September 22nd from 8am to 9:30am at the Start/Finish area.

21 km at 9:30am

10 km at 10:00am

5 km at 10:15am

Entry Fees * 

21 km race Early entry fee is $65 includes GST. Price increases on Jan 1st and Sept 17th for late registration.

10 km race entry is $50 includes GST. Price increases on Jan 1st and Sept 17th for late registration.

5 km race early entry fee is $40 includes GST. Price increases on Jan 1st and Sept 17th for late registration.

*Entry Fees will increase by $5 – on Jan 1st and by $5 on Sept 15th.

*Entry fees do not include on-line processing fee.

Refund Policy 

Sorry No Refunds. –Your registration may be transferred to another 2024 event but this must be requested 2 weeks prior to the event.

Aid Stations - will be updated closer to the event

5 km race will not have any aid stations on course
10 km race will have 1 aid station around 4km into the race.
21 km race will have 1 aid station at around 10km and then at the Finish Line. Aid stations will be stocked with Water, electrolyte drink, Gummies, jelly beans, coffee and chips! 21km runners make sure to bring water with you on course for your safety. For the 21km make sure to stock up you may need it for the ridge trail.

The location is Kenna Cartwright Park Tower entrance. Make sure you follow the map or use Tower entrance to find the right entrance to Kenna Cartwright Park.

Weather:

Historically it can be nice at the end of September in Kamloops but be prepared for all weather conditions. This year it has been warm so you may still need to bring a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen but you never know it could rain so bring clothing for all types of weather.
